Calculate basic math. Basic reading skills.

Execute orders safely and quickly to satisfy customer needs.
Strong attention to detail and quality during all steps of production.
Work individually or part of a work cell as needed.
Keep area clean.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Opening - Delivery Driver

1st Shift, M-Th -10 hrs. per day, Occasional OT on Fridays

Pay will be based on experience and discussed during interview.

Basic Duties
• Operate local daily deliver routes to established customer base
• Requires driving a box truck or delivery van an average of 6-10 hours of driving time each day.
• Meet delivery deadlines as necessary.
• Obtain customer signatures upon delivery and provide them with the necessary paperwork.
• Loading and unloading products on/off the truck using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and build rapport with customers.
• Communicate with team members regarding any issues or delays with deliveries and/or pick-ups.
• Ensure company vehicles are maintained and all functions working properly while reporting any issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks.
• Perform production duties within the facility as time allows prior to and after all deliveries and pick-ups have been completed.
• Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
• Must demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record for the last 5+ years.
• Must be able to complete and successfully pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass drug screens.
• Knowledge of how to handle packages and materials safely to ensure quality and decrease risk of damage to products.
• Familiarity with using navigation/GPS systems is a plus.
• Physical ability to load and unload up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Experience with driving daily, long distance routes for extended time periods.
• Shipping and Receiving experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
