I’m also a plant scientist, singer, dog lover, wife and mother of two. Hello everyone, we are Kevin and Gina Babb from Florida, U.S.A. We are married with two children. I (Gina) came originally from the Philippines while Kevin was born in Modesto, California. I am a plant scientist while Kevin is a solar guy by trade. When the pandemic hit, a lot of people lost their jobs and some had to transitio
n from office work to remote work. That time, Kevin lost his solar job so we ended up having one income in a family of four. During that time we had to find a side hustle to supplement my income. That's when we found this digital business through an Ad that passed by my page. I grow up very poor in the Philippines because I am the youngest in the family of seven children and my Father died when I was a month shy of my 5th birthday. Since my Dad was the sole breadwinner in the family, it was so difficult for my Mom to put food on the table when we were growing up. All my older siblings had to work during night time to help my Mom put food on our table, at the same time going to school during the day. I grow up very poor with my siblings but God was very kind to us because He gifted us with grit, perseverance, dtermination, and hard work for almost all of us to finish our education so we can get out of poverty. I remember having no shoes and clothes when I go to school during my elementary years as a student. It was only during my second year in high school when my older siblings finished their education and got jobs that they were able to buy me new shoes and clothes for school. With my older siblings finished with school and having income from their jobs that they helped the younger siblings finish our education, then we also got jobs. For me personally, I was blessed with the mental capacity and capability to pursue graduate school after finishing my Bachelor's education. After my Master's degree, I worked in the premier research institution in the Philippines, got married and had two children and came here in the United States to pursue even a higher education. With God's grace I finished my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant and and Environmental Science and now has a good job in the flagship and state of the art university in the State of Florida. Back to my BIG WHY why my husband and I joined this business. We wanted to supplement our income from my job and at the same time we wanted to have more time freedom to spend with our children because we are not getting younger anymore.
