Allow us to introduce you to the 2026 National Apartment Association Executive of the Year, our very own Robert Carroll.

Robert Carroll has served as Executive Director of the North Central Florida Apartment Association for the past 17 years. Alongside a small group of dedicated and selfless leaders, Robert has guided the organization to a thriving association that has grown its membership by more than 500 percent since 2009.

Additionally, he is grateful to have recently earned his CAE designation from the American Society of Association Executives.

Robert believes his journey has given him the gift of perspective and presence, helping him recognize the beauty in what once seemed common or ordinary. One of his favorite quotes captures this outlook:

“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” — Søren Kierkegaard

It brings us joy to celebrate Robert’s accomplishment as he has poured years of commitment into celebrating all of ours. To be selected for this honor speaks volumes to the efforts Robert makes here in North Central Florida.

transformed the with incredible balloon décor while ensuring that our Oz actors and supplier partners were stage ready with Fab Face’s creative face painting and makeup artistry.

created the magic with our Wizard display, stage presence, lighting, and sound, setting the scene for an immersive Emerald City experience.

Finale Events built our iconic house that landed on the Wicked Witch and themed props, providing the perfect backdrop for trivia, interviews, and photos.
