As a Boat Sales Consultant, you will work with customers throughout the buying process, from initial inquiry to delivery, helping them select the right boat, accessories, and financing options. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, earning uncapped commissions, and being part of the boating lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in the showroom, at boat shows, and through online inquiries.
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate boats and marine products.
Conduct boat demonstrations and sea trials.
Generate and follow up on sales leads.
Maintain customer relationships before and after the sale.
Work closely with finance, service, and parts departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
Keep up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications:
Previous sales experience preferred (marine, automotive, RV, powersports, or retail sales experience is a plus).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work weekends and during peak boating seasons.
Basic computer and CRM skills.
Boating knowledge is helpful but not required—we will train the right candidate.
