AI is a transformative educational tool, and a recent initiative places it directly in students’ hands, enabling practical and applied learning experiences. After 9 months of development (and plenty of tech gremlins), the Teach Your Bot initiative is off and running in the
4104 Facilities Management course! 🎓🤖

In collaboration with CogU, , and AI initiatives, students are creating their personal assistant professors—AI bots that grow into content experts. Students validate their learning by guiding their bots through course materials while improving responses and tackling real-world challenges.

We’ll wrap up the semester with a Bot Gallery Walk, where students will showcase their bot’s progress and reflect on how AI can be leveraged in the workplace. 💡🏟️ It’s all about embracing the future of education—AI in action!

The ANIMATIONS and the Advanced Legal Aspects course are done!!!

Watch 2 of the 11 animated characters in my Adv. Legal Aspects course provides perspective on the application of standards related to an indoor basketball court where a high school student was paralyzed because of court and shoe conditions.

The question posed, who was legally responsible and why? The characters rationalize their involvement and pose questions based on regulations, standards, and practices related to legal duties owed.

See the entire cast of characters and ten other crossover animated case-study-based scenarios starting Fall 2022 at the University of Florida - Department of Sport Management.

Credit to the University of Florida COIP geniuses for helping me create this first-of-its-kind course.

*Sidebar… I believe we are also the 1st to set canvas up as a docket manager --- culminating in a virtual mock trial.
