Still my favorite place! With a world gon’ wonky, I appreciate the stability…the consistency…a 45 # plate is always a 45 # plate. I move, I pick things up and put them down, and I BREATHE.
Don’t get me wrong, I also enjoy navigating change, growing, and adapting. But there’s a balance.

I look real geeked up in the second pic about the weight I’m putting up. It’s my normal workout weight for smith machine shoulder press (w/u with 25s, progress to 45s for 3 sets of 8-10 reps). I think I’m more excited about being able to see the photo I’m taking because I put on my readers. 🤓
