6 years ago! We visited this property recently, for the first time in a few years, and it’s so gratifying to see the impact our work has on the ecology of these properties. Nice work team!

23 acre Hazardous Fuel Reduction Project we completed last summer in Ulery’s lake. The light green portion in the middle was once as densely spaced as the surrounding forest. This client was able to utilize Federal Grant money to help offset the price of their forest management. Feel free to contact us for more information.

This old muzzleloader was found inside a tree by a logger in Mendon, Vermont, when the log was brought to Mill River Lumber…

At some point, long ago, someone must have set it in the fork of that tree… and then life moved on. The tree kept growing, season after season, year after year, until it slowly swallowed it whole. Think about that. Something once held in someone’s hands… maybe for survival, maybe for protection, or maybe even one of the Green Mountain boys…now just a quiet piece of history, frozen in time inside a living tree.

The tree didn’t rush. Didn’t force anything. It just kept growing. And in the end, it turned something forgotten… into something unforgettable. Kind of makes you realize… time doesn’t just pass, it transforms.

Ain’t life funny like that.
