Keeley & Chase were bound for eternity today, 6/6/26; at the beautiful Green Lawn Cemetery .

Their ceremony was an atmospheric and poetic celebration of an unconventional love. Rejecting standard traditional scripts, the vows leaned heavily into a dark romance and Earth-centered aesthetic, beautifully matching the historic, serene surroundings.

The narrative of the ceremony tracked the couple's journey through nature's metaphors—comparing their resilience to the bending willow and their connection to the cycles of the moon.

The romantic vows asked the couple to promise loyalty through the 'Bleakest of Midnights' and 'Ghastly shadows of Misfortune.

The service concluded with an elemental blessing, calling upon Earth, Air, Fire, and Water to grant the newlyweds health, honesty, passion, and deep emotional bonds.

They placed tarot cards on each seat for each guest to have a private reading at their reception.

To help you plan your wedding budget accurately, here is how it works when we hit the road for you:

The Mileage: Travel is calculated from the 43119 ZIP code at $1.00 per mile. Remember, those miles double up for the round trip! (For example: a 100-mile trip becomes 200 miles total, which equals $200 for mileage alone).

The Essentials: For longer trips, couples cover standard travel expenses, meals, and lodging for us. (And just to keep it real: your weird uncle's spare room does not count as acceptable lodging for two! 😂

The Traveling Officiant Bonus! On occasion, I travel across the country for festivals or vacations. If your wedding happens to line up with where we are already hanging out or passing through, that is a massive budget bonus for you!

The "Budget-Friendly" Destination Hack: If your heart is set on an out-of-state wedding but the full travel costs don't quite fit your budget, you don't have to miss out! You can still hire me to craft your entire, custom "Alternative Wedding" script. We can do a quick, cozy legal signing right here in Ohio before you jet off, and your destination ceremony (performed by a friend or family member) will still be beautifully personalized, meaningful, and perfectly "you"!

May Wedding Season Wrap-Up: What an incredible month of "Alternative Weddings"! In May alone, I traveled 539.5 miles across Ohio to help couples begin their forever journeys. From the historic grandeur of Mac-O-Chee Castle to the peaceful beauty of Myeera Nature Preserve, every location told a unique story. This month was deeply meaningful, as I had the honor of: Binding souls at the Darby Glenn Rehabilitation Center for a dedicated veteran (thank you for your service!). Officiating a scenic ceremony in a Lakeview backyard. Visiting Richland Correctional for a prison wedding. Hosting an elopement right in my own front yard. Completing three "Sign & File" services for couples ready to make it official with a simple, legal touch.

To those who offered generous tips and took the time to leave Facebook and/or Google reviews, thank you from the bottom of my heart. These adventures and your happiness are exactly what keep me motivated every day.
