Wow, what an event we had last night at the big pool in Garden City. Over 600 attendees, 400 hotdogs, chips, cookies, 800 drinks, 18 gallons of home made ice cream, and a ton of watermelon was served last night to individuals with disabilities, their families and the community. Advocacy Alternative Case Management, LLC couldn't have done this without the help of the community. I would like to thank my husband, Andrew Maddox(cooked 400 hotdogs and provided support) Bryce Maddox, my team, Chris, Megan, Blanca, Nayelli, Pioneer Communications (covered admission fee for everyone) Scott City Shriners and Case Management by Kris (for the homemade ice cream), RDZ Construction (hot dogs and buns), Compass Behavioral Health (watermelon), Cindy Reyes( balloon backdrop), Holcomb High school girls BB team and coach Ardery, Real Men Real Leaders, Beyond the Label, Huber Upholstery (Christy), Routon family, Linda Hill and the resource booths who attended: Mosaic at Home, Compass, Families Together, RCDC and everyone who pitched in to help. To say my heart is full is an understatement. ❤️

AACM would like to introduce our newest TCM to our team. Blanca Sotelo- she is also bilingual. Please give her a big welcome !

Hello! My name is Blanca Sotelo. I am married and the proud mother of two wonderful boys.

Before becoming a Targeted Case Manager, I worked in the Special Education Department at the local school district, supporting children ages five and under. My experience working with young children and their families inspired me to pursue a career in Targeted Case Management after recognizing the need for more bilingual services in our community.

My goal is to support and empower families by connecting them with available resources and helping them better understand their child's unique strengths and needs. I believe that when families have the right information and support, they are better equipped to advocate for their children and help them thrive.

My passion for this work is also personal. I have a family member with a disability who has taught me the importance of patience, acceptance, and celebrating each individual's unique abilities. Watching him grow and encouraging him to try new things has reinforced my belief that every person has incredible potential.

I am passionate about serving our community and helping families feel comfortable asking for support. No one should feel alone when navigating services, and every individual deserves access to the resources and opportunities that can help them succeed.

Individuals with disabilities have so much to offer—they are capable, intelligent, and bring unique perspectives to the world. If you or your family need assistance or have questions about available services and resources, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would be honored to help you in any way I can.

Soccer is sometimes called the world’s game, meaning that it’s a game for everyone. The Outreach Program for Soccer, or TOPSoccer, is working to make that a reality while keeping kids safe and cool.
