Svcs, DOJ-certified (inactive) PREA auditor (juv. and Director of the first PREA compliant facility of any type in the US. Steven Jett, owner of Jett Corrections Consulting LLC, was the administrator of the first facility in the United States to be determined to be PREA Compliant. He served as the administrator of the Southwest Idaho Juvenile Detention Center from 1993 until retirement in 2020. He

served as President or Secretary of the Idaho Association of County Juvenile Justice Administrators continuously from 1992 until 2011. He has been involved with PREA since 2005, and was selected to attend the first PREA Auditor Training by the Department of Justice. He served two terms as the President of the National Juvenile Detention Association, 2008-2012. He also served on the Executive Board of the National Partnership for Juvenile Services until 2014. Steve also serves as a gubernatorially appointed member of the Idaho Board of Juvenile Corrections, and held an ex-officio position with the Interstate Commission for Juveniles until stepping down in April 2021.
