What Does Recourse LLC Even Do?
Fair question—and honestly, most people don’t realize a service like this even exists until they need it.
Recourse LLC is brought in when something about a claim doesn’t quite add up. Maybe the estimate feels light, maybe parts of the home weren’t fully addressed, or maybe the whole process just feels harder to follow than it should be.
That’s where we step in.
We take a second, more deliberate look at the property and the estimate, focusing on what’s actually present at the home. Not just the obvious items, but the details—interior finishes, secondary components, and conditions that can be easy to miss when the initial scope is written.
Then we organize everything into something clear and usable.
No jargon. No guesswork. Just a straightforward presentation of observable conditions and how they translate into a structured estimate.
If you’ve ever looked at an estimate and thought, “I don’t even know what I’m looking at,” you’re not alone. We help break that down into plain language so you can understand what’s there, what’s not, and how the process typically works—strictly from an informational standpoint.
If there’s already an estimate in place, we can perform an independent re-inspection and documentation review, giving you a clean, organized picture of the property that can be shared with anyone involved in the process.
And when there’s a disagreement over the amount of loss, some policies include an appraisal provision. If that option is pursued, Recourse LLC can serve as an appraiser, working alongside the insurer’s appraiser to determine the value of the loss, with an umpire involved if needed.
We see this across wind, hail, water, fire, and similar types of property damage—any situation where clear documentation and well-supported valuation can make the path forward easier to understand.
