An update to my Covid-19 policy:

✅ Starting today, masks must be worn by parents at drop-off and pick-up.

✅ Temperature will be taken at drop-off with a forehead thermometer. If your child's temperature is 99.5° or higher, I will ask that they stay home.

✅ Home visits will be suspended for the time being. If you'd like to set up an interview or home visit, I'd be more than happy to do so over Zoom/video chat.

✅ I will currently not accept any children whose parents are not fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Proof of vaccination will be required before care.

This past week was Nature Week! We explored different types of plants, walked through the woods, made play-doh fossils, leaf prints, and pinecone bird feeders! 🌿

Our beloved "nanny dog" passed away this week. I wanted to post here, since Kaiya protected, played with, and doted on every single child that has been cared for here. While you may not hear her loud greetings anymore at drop-off, I'm sure her beautifully gentle spirit will still be around. ❤️

Are you looking for affordable childcare this fall? Let's chat! I've been a professional nanny for 15 years and have experience with all ages and special physical and behavioral needs! I went to school for early childhood education, and I'm CPR, AED, and first aid certified.
I can also provide guidance for potty training and sleep training!
Since I provide care in my home, I am only accepting 2 children at this time. But that means lots of one on one time, field trips, and flexibility! We have a dedicated playroom, a large yard to play in (we're working on a toddler play area this summer!), and we live in a neighborhood that has private nature trails, a playground, and a pool!
We have movie day once a week, but besides that, I stick to a screen-free schedule. We typically spend 1-2 hours outside every day. 🌳
Several references from neighbors and former clients available upon request.

If anyone needs a cloth face mask for their child, message me and let me know which one you'd like! Completely free, no strings attached. We just want to help keep the kiddos in our community safe! ❤️

All of my child-size masks have been claimed, but don't worry; I'll be giving away more soon! Remember to teach your child how to correctly wear a mask before placing one on them or going in public. Teach them why masks protect ourselves and others, and go through the "do's and don't" often! With positive reinforcement and good examples in the home, your child should be able to learn how to wear a mask just as they've learned how to wear a hat or jacket. :)

Hello friends! Mrs. Emily still misses all her kiddos. As Covid-19 numbers continue to rise in the triangle, I am deciding to continue to stay closed, though other nannies and daycare providers are opening up. But I would still love to help our community's children in any way I can while still keeping myself and my family safe, so I am giving away 10 free child size masks to any family who needs them!
No, no strings attached. Free masks! Just send this page a private message with which mask you would like for your child! We can either drop the mask off at your home or you can pick it up from mine - we'll work it out.
Only one mask per child, please! And yes, I plan on giving away more once these are gone! 😊
