A little exciting news from our Knight Family family!

Many of you know Matt Knight as one of the owners of Knight Family Outlet and Rip City Cards, but you may also know him as a neighbor, friend, fellow business owner, or someone who has spent much of his life right here in our community.

We’re excited to share that Matt is officially running for Forest Grove City Council!

Matt grew up in Forest Grove and graduated from Forest Grove High School. He and his wife, Valentina, continue to call Forest Grove home.

Running a local business has given Matt the opportunity to meet thousands of people from throughout our community and hear firsthand about the challenges facing families and small businesses.

His approach to business has always been pretty simple: live within your means, take care of people, listen, work together, and find solutions when challenges arise. Those are the same values he hopes to bring to City Council.

Matt believes Forest Grove has a bright future, but getting there will require collaboration. We won’t always agree on everything, and that’s okay. Listening to different perspectives and working together is how we find better solutions.

We’re proud of Matt for taking this step and for wanting to give back to the community that helped shape him.

🚛 Big Things Are Happening at Knight Family Outlet!

We have a semi-truck load of appliances arriving tomorrow, including:

✅ Refrigerators
✅ Freezers
✅ Stoves
✅ Dishwashers

And that’s not all!

Also tomorrow Tuesday (June 23), we have 2 more loads arriving filled with outdoor, camping, and backyard items—just in time for summer!

For all of our Pokémon and sports card fans, we wanted to share an update.

Many of you know we’ve been working hard to obtain our own wholesale accounts so we can bring you authentic products at great prices. Along the way, we explored partnering with another local card shop, but the arrangement would have required us to give up 50% of our business. That simply wasn’t the right fit for us, so we chose to continue building it ourselves.

A huge thank you to Thor Dunn, who has been putting in countless hours establishing relationships with distributors across the country. We’ve now submitted all of our paperwork, store videos, business information, and everything else they requested. It’s quite a process, but we’re down to waiting on one final distributor decision.

We’re getting close, and we can’t wait to bring even more Pokémon and sports card products to Gaston!
