Good Friday morning!
I wanted to take a few minutes this morning and share with everyone a special project we have been working on.
As you know we are a full service sign company. We do lots of commercial signs, vehicle lettering and wraps, banners, wall wraps, etc..
You may not know that we ( my talented husband)have the craftsmanship to work with specialty wood and carving.
If you are like us and have sentimental things in your life that you want to re purpose check this out.
We have a bar in our home( we turned the old dinning room into it). The piano was bought by my father’s parents the year he was born 1950. We turned it into the piano bar, and put their entertainment center around it for the glass wear.
Love it …it’s fabulous.
So we always called it the Double Barrel Saloon after my Dad Gary and Stuart’s dad Phil. They were two of a kind(and completely different at the same time).
We took the old door off the log cabin Phil built in Maine in the early 1980’s and used it as the backer for this sign (artwork).
The hinges were hand forged by a family friend back then and Stuart re purposed those as well.
Hung Gary’s double barrel shot gun on it and added some 3 dimensional letters.
This is more that a sign or a piece of art. It has deeper meaning to us and we get to see it everyday, displayed.
