My dad, Harry Belk, established Belk's Used Appliances in 1976. He raised four children while living his dream of owning his own business. As the sole proprietor, he lived that dream until 2016.
From the age of 12 years old, Dad trained me to repair appliances and learn the ins and outs of running a business. As a family business, we also had two of Dad's grandsons and one granddaughter who worked here helping to supply our customer's appliance needs.
I took the reins as owner in 2016 to continue Dad's dream. But the time has come for me to retire. Our last day of operation will be Saturday, November 4, 2023.
We want to thank all of our loyal customers for almost 48 years of living our dream. We are honored to have served you and our surrounding community for all these years. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your lives.
