Since the new Beauty and the Beast live-action film releases tomorrow, here's a to a prop I built last year with for a stage production of the show. Each petal falls on command via RF transmitter. Fiber optics sparkle when each petal falls. Video coming soon!

Please keep the residents, emergency crews, and businesses of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN in your thoughts and prayers today as they endure these terrible fires. Gatlinburg is one of my favorite places to visit and work, and we have done a lot of work there this year and hope to be able to continue to do so. There's no doubt that Gatlinburg will rebuild, but Im hoping that the damage is kept to as little as possible so guests can enjoy it for years to come.

These are more "progress" than "finished" photos, but lately I have been doing quite a bit of work in Gatlinburg, TN upgrading the exteriors of a 20+ year-old family entertainment center called Fort Fun. The business is currently being rebranded to "Gatlin's - Smoky Mountain Fun" and we will also be refreshing the entire interior lobby and public space to include escape games as well as some other new activities. All of this work is anticipated to be completed by February 2017 with two of the escape games opening by year-end. Please go check them out if you are in the area!

A post from my friend and colleague Tom Knabe about an escape game I recently worked on as project manager and production designer. The gameplay and creative design was by Chris Moschella of Escape Authority.

I was lucky enough to get to design and install a custom control system for Backstage Escape Games in Myrtle Beach, SC along with Nate Mitchell. I was presented with roughly 20 puzzles/scenarios to run through the control system....
