Just Sayin' Ops

Just Sayin' Ops Industry leaders hire us to manage their day-to-day operations, so they can get back to being the visionary in their business. Like they are finally free.

As a client of Just Sayin’ Ops, our industry leaders finally get to take themselves out of the day-to-day operations and step back into the role of visionary, freeing up their time to grow and scale beyond what they had ever thought possible. We have seen over and over again that time changes a business owner. When our clients regain their time, they have more freedom to create, to dream, to grow,

to scale, and to rest. They come to us saying: “If I have someone to create the systems and structure, then I can step out of the day to day.”

Structure, systems, organization, better flow, more efficiency -- things they don’t have. If they have someone come in to create the systems and structure, they can get out of the day to day -- what they ultimately want. Our clients feel an instant sense of relief. They feel confident in our ability to serve them well. They feel safe and nurtured. Heard and understood. They trust that we have their best interest at heart and in mind when we do work on their behalf. They learn that delegation is the key to growth, and that delegation starts with trust and letting go. They learn that indecision and the inability to let go of the day-to-day operations are the #1 reasons that launches are not successful, teams aren’t running smoothly, content isn’t created in advance, and that the business is reactive instead of proactive. They experience a massively reduced stress level. Letting go leads to freedom. Letting go leads to creativity and growth planning. Working with Just Sayin’ Ops takes their eyes off of micromanaging and doing themselves and instead puts their vision on the business. It completely changes the game when it comes to the health and success of themselves as an individual, their family, and the strength of the business.

Went to today and got more than a Christmas present for …

Mr. was there and I couldn’t resist introducing myself, talking about his career and what he’s doing now (and of course — a photo).

Such a great day! You never know who you will meet in this life. Glad I went!

Today, while interviewing a candidate, I received a compliment that truly stood out. She said:

"Your posting on Upwork along with the Job Description was 99% better than any job I've applied for. I don't have a lot of questions because you answer them before they can be asked."

That one line summed up what most businesses overlook when it comes to hiring: clarity.

Too often, job postings are vague. Expectations are hidden. The role is described in broad strokes rather than in detail. And then companies wonder why the wrong people apply, or why new hires don’t last.

Here’s the reality:

People want to know exactly what you are asking them to do.

They want enough detail to show up prepared and deliver at 100%.

The best candidates are not looking for “just any job.” They’re looking for companies that stand out — the ones who value their time, respect their skills, and set clear expectations.

Hiring is not just about filling a position. It’s about building trust from the very first touchpoint. A well-written job description tells a candidate: we know what we need, we respect your time, and we’ve built processes to support you.

In 2025, the businesses that will thrive are the ones that:
✔️ Have their processes dialed in
✔️ Write job postings that are specific, not vague
✔️ Leverage AI tools to streamline communication and onboarding

Hiring is competitive. If you want to attract top talent, you can’t afford to be unclear.

The compliment I heard today wasn’t really about the job posting — it was about the systems behind it. And that’s the part most businesses miss.

Twenty six years ago I gave birth to a better version of myself.

To a human who doesn’t take no for an answer.

To a man who knows Jesus is THE King.

To a man who will speak truth to me, you and his future wife.

To a man who will lead in his lifetime.

Twenty six years ago, I was a twenty year old woman without a clue.

But I knew one thing…
…he was my life and my treasure.

The path hasn’t been smooth.

We are both tough learners, but I can tell you this — we aren’t just mom and son.

We see each other.
Honor each other’s boundaries.
Respect each other.
Love each other.

We built stability when I never thought it could be found.

He is my light.
My joy.
My heart.

I don’t wish him a Happy Birthday, I wish him a lifetime of his best self when faced with a world who will try to make him less than.

Life is fragile and after the events of last week, we honor what is today.

When he said thank you for all we did for his birthday, I told him this:

“Last week reminded me how fragile life really is on this Earth. We are no longer taking that for granite. Every day is an opportunity to do better. We love you and cherish every moment with you as we don’t know when the last will be. I’m privileged to get to celebrate you today. And if it’s God will, I’ll continue as long as I can.”

May the Lord bless Alex every day in his life as I know he’s a blessing to all who know him.

Happy Birthday Son! 🎁

"The focus is in the details NOT the action."

I said this to a team member a few weeks ago and it got me to thinking.....is your team just going through the motions or are they invested?

As the CEO, you've put the systems in place, built out a beautiful mission, vision and values statement, set your goals with impactful intention and hired the team to bring it forth into the world.

Then as you all work side-by-side, you start to see communication issues. Your vision is getting lost a little bit each day and you're starting to ask yourself if you even want to do this anymore.

This is where the details lie.

The fact is that you and your team are just going through the motions and not working through the details that impact the vision.

I see it everyday and it comes down to one thing: the right leader.

You can't be the CEO with the vision and run your team alone. It's not your skill set.

One of my favorite clients always says: "You should know how to do all the things, but YOU shouldn't."

Operations Managers know how to work with your team and move your vision forward. They are your bridge between delegation, communication and action. When you hire an Operations Manager, you are getting the hand you've needed to hold everyone accountable - even you!

So don't go another day just living in the motions. Work through the details with someone who understands what you need.

Whoever said aging came at a price, lied!

I’ve never felt more alive.
More in my skin.
More me than I do right now.

What comes with age is the freedom to be yourself. You’re no longer chained to caring what others think, say or do where you are concerned. And that my friends, is priceless!

So 46, bring it on because I’m here for you.

Here for the laughs.
The moments of grief.
And well, everything in between.

Over the years of working in the online space, I've taken so many courses and done so much research when it comes to methods/models/strategies, you name it. And I can affirm -- that all are wrong, but useful.

They are all wrong because no business is one size fits all.

They are all useful because when combined with experience, you can mold it to what you need it to be.

No one can ever tell you "do it my way or it won't work" but they can tell you "take a version of what has worked and turn it into a version that works for your business."

So find what works for you, learn from those with tried and true methods AND mold it to what you need for you business now -- keeping growth in mind.

This is the anthem of my work -- Relationships above ALL else!

✔️ Relationships lead to trust.
✔️ Trust leads to good decisions.
✔️ Good decisions lead to profit.

This is what I put on everyday working with clients as their ops manager or coach. When you and I build a relationship of mutual trust and respect, that’s when we can do our best work. And our best work can lead to growth like you wouldn’t believe.

Business coaches are everywhere. Some generalize, some specialize. What I bring to the table is different from anything in the coaching market right now because I’m a coach, yes, but I’m also a darn good operations manager.

: Streamline Your SOP Storage and Access with Google Workspace

Storing your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Google Workspace, specifically using Google Docs, is an effective way to keep your processes organized and accessible.

✨ Centralized Storage - use Google Drive to store all your SOPs in one centralized location. This makes it easy for team members to find and access the procedures they need.

✨ Create SOPs - Google Docs is perfect for straightforward, text-based SOPs. You can use customizable templates to maintain consistency across your documents, and the real-time collaboration features allow multiple team members to edit and comment simultaneously, ensuring your SOPs are always up-to-date.

✨ Build an Internal SOP Site - for a more comprehensive solution, use Google Workspace/Folders to create an internal database dedicated to your SOPs. This can be organized by department, function, or project, making it easy for employees to navigate and find the procedures relevant to them.

✨ Seamless Integration - Google Workspace’s seamless integration with tools like Sheets, Slides, and Forms allows you to enhance your SOPs with additional resources, such as linked spreadsheets or embedded forms for tracking compliance.

✨ Easy Sharing and Permissions - Manage who has access to your SOPs with Google’s robust sharing and permissions management. You can control whether documents are view-only or editable, and restrict access to sensitive procedures as needed.

By leveraging Google Workspace for your SOP storage, you’ll not only streamline your operational processes but also ensure that your team can easily collaborate and access the information they need, anytime, anywhere.
