We regret to inform that Goodwater W**ery in Gatlinburg will be officially closing shop this weekend. We have enjoyed everyone's company and hope you have enjoyed our w**e. You can still order through the website a selection of our bottles and some surrounding local shops carry a few labels also.

Our founder, the OG, the best laugh award winner, our leader, our guide, our patriarch has left us to be with Jesus and sing praise to God with his beautiful voice, to play his guitar for the lord as he played for us here on earth. His dreams came true, he served his community as a family doctor, he fell in love twice; widowed, and God gave him another, all his children gave him grandchildren to fawn over and lavish his love upon, he planted the first grapevines hoping one day his family could produce w**e. His love of w**e went beyond the bottle, it was about the hands that held the glasses and raised the toast to life. It has never been about the w**e. It was always about the people drinking it. If we can look at his grand example of life we all should come away saying I love you more, offering smiles to strangers, lifting up those around us, leaping with faith, dancing with a smile, singing with your soul, caring with servitude in our heart and one day leaving a legacy of love, hope, kindness and undying service to those around us. You are forever loved and will be missed by all who knew you. I just wish my words could share how truely one of a kind and amazing you were, but there are not enough words in the dictionary. We love you Dr. Michael Timothy Hood.

Happy Holidays from GOODWATER!
We have some wonderful holiday combinations for you this season. The KNOTTY OR NICE has released and it is the perfect accompaniment for any seasonal dishes. We start wtih a dry red un-oaked w**e and blend in orange juice and cranberry juice. The sweet and tart factor is delicious and go great with so many foods like ham, turkey, melted brie, and fruit dishes.
We love to make a Poinsettia Cocktail by blending it 50/50 with our Blanc De Blanc sparkling w**e. This is a classic drink for a mimosa morning.
Additionally, you can heat it up in a crock or regular pot with a bit of cinnamon and cloves for a delicious mulled w**e. The best part is there is NO JUICE needed! It is already IN the w**e.

Of course, many of our sweet w**es are excellent combinations for our Blanc de Blanc sparkling white. Try it with a bottle of Eveything's Peachy for a Bellini style mimosa. Or even try it with our Blackbearry Musacaine Port for something sweeter, stronger and bubbly.

Love dry w**es? The Accelerator should be a staple Dry Red for any holiday dinner. Out of all the double barreled w**es on the market, we feel this one competes with all. It is about 14% abv, smooth an big bodied. A Cabernet Sauvignon that sat in French oak for over a year and then racked into Elijah Craig 12 year old bourbon barrels to give it a hint of sweet bourbon, plenty of vanilla and just the right amount of oak. The two barrel aging process is popular now, but we think we have this process on lock down.
