Wisconsin corn needs more warm, dry weather before harvest. Andy Grebner, Wyffels Hybrids district sales rep for Dane and Green counties, says fields are still wet. Add weak stalks, thanks to a humid spring and an exceptionally dry summer, and plants are degrading quickly. Take a listen.

What happens when Mother Nature keeps throwing punches all season long?
In Maroa, Illinois, farmer Cody White battled multiple windstorms, tornadoes and 15 to 20 inches of rain above normal this growing season.

Now, as harvest gets underway, he’s seeing corn yields 25–30 bushels per acre below last year.
