DeeDee Clicks Photography I love the challenge of finding something beautiful and capturing it to share with others. This page is to share my hobby with others. WHY DID I DO THAT?".

The stories, the moments, the memories...I catch them, stop them in their tracks, and then I share them. Each and every day I find some thing, some piece to focus on, and I just can't pass up the opportunity to capture it, still for all time. One day may be flowers the next skater shoes. I have been asked to do portraits, and I do, so I may throw some of those in here too. My favorite subjects are

my kids. Not just the ones I gave birth to, but every kid that I have been honored to have a connection with. I love to watch them grow and evolve, see how they morph over time from that chubby little baby into the freckle-faced pr***en into an adult. The stories I can tell, that others can tell, just from a simple photograph...it leaves me in awe. I love when the kids look back at photos from last year, 5 years ago, 10 years ago and say "OH MY GOD! I want to do that for as many people, young and old, as I can. I am not professionally trained, I just do what I think will be pleasing to look at. I hope you are able to find beauty in my photos and enjoy the story, whether it's apparent or you make one up yourself. If you have questions, send me a message and I will get back to.

It's been so long since I had a camera, 3 years actually. I have a new one and am relearning to use it. Unfortunately I lost my 18-55mm lens in our moves, so I am working with a 50mm prime and a 55-200mm zoom. It's a challenge, but one I am enjoying. I will eventually get back to photographing people, but I am enjoying macro and landscapes right now.

Where are all my photog friends? July 8th I will need extra cameras to help with photos of the skate comp. I realized I cannot be the photographer and everything else. This is a challenging environment to work in. Not only are you working into the sun, under harsh lights, and some darkness...these kids are moving FAST! The only time you get them standing still is for the photos of them with their prizes. It is a blast though!
