I turned myself into an Errand Up Helper today to help out a customer who needed an order from IKEA picked up 💪💪

She had ordered a few cabinets online and needed to head into work for the day - and wanted to come home with the cabinets sitting at her door 🚪 Save her the trip and the GAS!!!

So she TEXTED in and placed a request 💬 and luckily, I was heading out for the day so I just took it upon myself to make the adventure out there for her 😁 It’s been a minute since I’ve taken on a request myself - I’ve missed the RUSH of what it’s like to do a delivery. Ahhhhhhh the best!!!!

I even found a Turkish coffee drive through while I was out that way, and treated myself to a Turkish coffee ☕️ Something I’ve never had before - but it was absolutely delicious. Freshly brewed with a touch of cardamom. How exotic and fun! 😋(and no, this side coffee fix was not on the customer’s dollar. There’s always one of you out there trying to troll what we do and how we do things 🤣)

🧂 Had a customer TEXT me this morning asking if an Errand Up Helper could swing by her house while she was at the office and refill her water softener with salt pellets 🧂

I said absolutely!!!! So I found her a Helper who then ran over to Home Depot to purchase 6 bags of pellets. Then delivered/brought into her home and refilled her unit down in the basement 💪💪 Now she’ll come home from work with a full unit - water softened for days!!! Haha

One text. Full service. Easy peasy! ✅

🚨 With the college kiddos gone for the school year, I need to build out a pool of Errand Up HELPERS to fill in all the gaps 🚨

🍁 Fall is just around the corner, so I’ll need help with MOWING, YARWORK, and RAKING LEAVES for my customers.

🚗 I’ll need help with SHOPPING and DELIVERIES.

🧹 I’ll need help with BASIC CLEANING, ORGANIZING, and TIDYING UP.

💪 I’ll need help with MOVING and FURNITURE requests — like picking up and moving large items from one place to another.

❓ And I’ll need help with all sorts of ODDS and ENDS that local homeowners need us to do.

I get all kinds of requests flowing through my phone, and I want a pool of VERSATILE people to reach out to, no matter the request.

HUGE SHOUTOUT to all the college kiddos that helped out with our Hustle Up summer program this year!!! It was an experiment that really took shape and grew legs and (honestly) did way better than I had anticipated. Over $10k in revenue generated….HOLY SMOKES 🤯

Thank you to everyone who supported the college kids this summer by giving them some work to do around your house. We kept them very busy and out of trouble 🤪 We got nothing but rave reviews, and the college kids absolutely loved being a part of this program — and they are looking forward to helping out again when they come home for winter break.

It’s really cool to be able to provide a platform that not only creates and generates jobs for others, but also a platform that generates ideas, and openly pursues those ideas.

THANK YOU to Kristin Jeanne for managing HustleUp all summer long, and for taking the time to call me before the summer with this awesome idea. She had the idea….I had the platform and the network….so why not give it a go! And thankfully, it was a success and not a huge flop haha

I can’t wait to take this to the next level! 💪💪💪
