Groundwater is one of our most vital natural resources, and protecting it starts with the infrastructure that contains it, even if it’s in our backyard.

The National Groundwater Association encourages communities to advocate for protecting private well systems and groundwater to safeguard human health, with roughly 43 million Americans depending on domestic water well systems.

On September 2nd, NGWA and Wellowner.org will promote to raise awareness among private well owners about the importance of monitoring groundwater quality for potential contaminants.

Similarly, AGRU supports maintaining safe and healthy water systems through our high-performance engineering plastics products.

At AGRU America, groundwater protection is built into what we do, from lining concrete pipe systems to installing new HDPE solid-wall pipelines in harsh environments.

HDPE piping systems help minimize infiltration in water systems, which helps maintain higher water quality for potable use, or reduces hydraulic load on wastewater systems.
