Can SunTek PPF be applied over repaired or fresh paint?

SunTek Paint Protection Film is designed to be applied to original painted surfaces. The SunTek limited warranty is automatically void if installed over repainted or aftermarket-painted surfaces.

But if you still choose to install paint protection film on a freshly painted vehicle, 30 days is the common waiting period for the new paint to outgas.

To help ensure maximum performance of SunTek PPF, periodic care and attention are recommended. Avoid the use of automatic car washers and power washes as they could cause film lifting.
