Hi all,
Well it looks like we are in for some really cold weather, not that we haven't noticed some for awhile! So I wanted to give some thoughts which I hope may help someone.
Of course stay home if you can.
Dress appropriately if you go out.
Now the really serious thought: if your power/ heat goes off be prepared to drain your water system down before it freezes, especially if you are going to go stay with someone else or go to a hotel. Know where the main water shutoff is and turn it off. Turn the water heater breaker off. If you have a gas hot water heater ask your plumber how you should handle this. Flush the commode, open faucets, and if you have rv antifreeze pour a cup of antifreeze into the drains. Be sure exterior faucets have had the garden hoses removed even it you have a frost free spigot.
If you have a hot water baseboard system, I am sorry, but I don't know how you help you on that one, I suggest asking an HVAC person who has experience with those systems.
If you or someone you know has damage from frozen pipes I can usually help, I have mitigation companies and plumbers who can help, HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE A RUPTURED PIPE please be sure to save the piece of broken pipe and have a copy of the plumbers bill. We can often get that bill paid, but we will need the broken pipe. And take pictures before and after repairs, lots of pictures from different angels and distances these can be your saving grace with an insurance claim.

About August 9th there was a tornado touchdown in the Harrisburg area. I have visited and spoken to many of the residents with damage concerning my business. Still there are many who I have not been able to contact, so! If you know anyone who has damage in the Harrisburg area from this storm or any other storm or if they had a fire, water leak, smoke damage and much more please ask them if I may visit them to try to help. email me at 717 487 8203

Disaster after disaster, seems like the second most talked about subject in the United States right now!
I would like to invite my friends and clients to get away from the bad stuff for awhile and join me in Westminster MD!
October 26 and 27 I will be presenting at the Carroll County Haunted Halloween Home Show at the Ag Center.
Bring friends and or family and get away from the stress of the day!
I will be in costume but just look for the Stach!
I'm sure I will have some goodies for the kids and the parents too.

Today, July 8, I celebrate my 12th year with Metro Public Adjustment, Inc. I am so glad I found this business. I see everyday how terribly the insurance companies treat their customers, and they still get away with it.
Thank you God for giving me this opportunity, thank you to my wife for putting up with all the calls, and thank you to my clients for trusting me enough to allow us to work for you.
God bless America and my he watch over all of us.

I asked him "are you the friar?"
He replied "no I'm the chip monk"

It's crazy the number of roof claims being short paid or denied by the insurance companies.
I just wrote another one which was paid $1936.00
For 15,000 dollar loss.
Don't let the insurance company short you or deny your claim without a settlement double check.
Have a public adjuster handle your claim, they are licensed to help you.
