If you have a room with a sink or drain that rarely gets used. Its possible you'll smell sewer gas stink once in awhile. The plumbing trap can dry out allowing the oder in from the sewer. Not uncommon these days with regular heater use.
Just run a little water in the drain and the trap will quickly / automatically fill and close off the sewer gas passage.

This was my large project that really got me started. It was a 15 year rental that was in bad shape. After remodeling everything, top to bottom and front to back, it sold very easily. I've always been very handy with fixing and repairing and had the tools to do it. There are many projects I can do but I prefer smaller tasks and projects that range from a hour to a few days in length. Serving the Gig Harbor area. I can assist with your To Do list.
