As a young parent, I learned more than I ever expected about myself. We had our first kid before we were ready, full of nerves 😬, excitement 🤩, and anxiety 😅 all at once. But life doesn’t hand you more than you can handle, right?
The challenges of parenting have so many parallels to running a business. You realize you can take on a lot more than you thought. It’s all about showing up 💪, putting systems in place 📊, and getting tough when things get tough. Just like in business, you learn to delegate, adapt, and keep moving forward 🚀.
What do I want for my kids? I want them to be good people 👨👩👧👦, to give more than they take, and to become producers, not just consumers. It’s about teaching them that things aren't handed to you—you work for them 🛠️. And when you commit to something, you stick with it 🔒.
Whether it's a business, a team, or life itself, so much of it comes down to staying true to your commitments. That's where growth happens 🌱.
What have you learned about yourself from being a parent and what do you want for your kids? 🤔
