Did you know something as simple as dirty coils could lead your refrigerator to have longer run times in most cases you will recognize a change in temperature in your refrigerator struggling to keep cool. It is important that you maintain the coils once every year to two years to extend the life of the machine this unit in particular had to have the coils clean along with a new control board put in there was shorted out from overheating due to the dirty coils.

Here is why we at Jim's place cannot directly diagnose issues over the phone and why we prefer to conduct a thorough diagnosis process in person. Did you know that something as simple as a clogged or dirty water fill hose can disable your machine and generate error codes? This simple issue could be mistaken for a problem with the water valve or something else, which would cost more money and still not resolve the issue. If you notice that your machine is throwing codes or not filling with water, whether it's a refrigerator, dishwasher, or washing machine, this may be the problem. This is one reason it's hard for our technicians to diagnose issues over the phone, as there can be several potential causes, not just one. Call us once, and we'll diagnose and fix the issue once.

Excessive lint build up can lead to rollers getting locked up or debris getting on main control boards or worse hearing elements shorting out and best case scenario shorting out. Worse case it can lead to a fire!!! 🧑🏽‍🚒🚒🔥

Here's another GE monogram that we worked on for one of our nearby neighbors here in Gilbert; we were replacing his water line, but we also identified that his coils were dirty. Since we already had the unit out, we were able to clean the front and back side of the coils and get It running like brand new again for him 👍🏽

Today, we worked on a GE monogram refrigerator with a freezer that wasn't cooling properly. We found dirty coils, a broken condenser fan bracket and fan , and high temperatures. After researching, we discovered the manufacturer had discontinued the part, so our owner and lead technician Kyle Collier came up with an innovative solution to re-support the bracket, getting the refrigerator running smoothly again.
