🐝 Nature is truly incredible.

Take a look at this beehive. At first glance, it just looks like a tangled mess of vines and branches, but it's actually the perfect place for a colony to build a home.

The branches provide dozens of anchor points for the bees to attach their honeycomb. In a way, they act like rebar in concrete. The branches provide the framework, and the bees build wax around them, creating an incredibly strong structure that can support thousands of bees along with hundreds of pounds of honey and brood.

It's also great protection from birds, wind, and other predators while providing shade from the Arizona sun.

This is one of the reasons tree hives can be so challenging to remove. The bees aren't just hanging from a branch—they've woven their entire home into the surrounding vegetation.

Every hive tells a different story, and after removing thousands of them, we're still amazed by what bees can build.

Can crickets really come through an air vent?

We were skeptical too... until a customer showed us this.

The homeowner believed crickets were entering the bedroom through the ceiling HVAC vent. To test the theory, they taped clear plastic over the vent.

A few days later, several crickets were trapped between the vent and the plastic, confirming they were coming through the ductwork into the room.

This isn't the most common way crickets get inside a home, but it can happen when they enter the attic or HVAC system through openings around the home. Once inside, they'll often follow the airflow and end up in living spaces.

Every pest problem is a little different, which is why a thorough inspection is so important. Finding *how* pests are getting in is often the key to solving the problem—not just treating the pests you can see.

Bees are swarming right now 🐝

If you see a cluster like this out in the open (trees, bushes, low to the ground), they’re typically just passing through and will move on within 3–5 days... assuming it’s safe and you’re okay/comfortable waiting it out.

But if you see bees going in and out of your home or structure or some other covered area e.g. sprinkler valve box or shed floor… that’s different. That means they’ve moved in and they've set up housekeeping and they don't plan to leave on their own.

Don’t wait that one out. Give us a call.

🐜 How We Treat Subterranean Termites — From Discovery to Long-Term Protection 🏠

Subterranean termites live underground and enter homes quietly from below. That’s why effective treatment isn’t a single step — it’s a layered process designed to stop them now and protect the home long-term.

We begin by identifying signs of activity, such as mud tubes, which show where termites are traveling and gaining access to the structure.

Constantly wet soil creates ideal conditions for them to thrive underground and quietly move toward your foundation.

A few simple prevention tips:
✔ Redirect AC drain lines away from the home
✔ Fix leaks or irrigation overspray
✔ Keep soil near the foundation as dry as possible
✔ Walk your property occasionally and look for moisture issues
