I posted this previously on FB, but hoping to get more eyes and hearts to help share. This is an extremely hard post to make and I’ve been crying every day for a month putting it off. I need help to re-home my girl dog Dottie. She will be 6 this month, has all her shots, spayed and house broke. She is a mix of Border Collie, Kelpie and Catahoula. I got her and her sister when they were 8 weeks old and had never heard of Littermate Syndrome. It wasn’t too bad the first year or two but has gotten progressively worse and for their health and safety they need to be separated. The hardest part is that Dottie is a really sweet and friendly dog. She’s great with kids and gets along with the other dogs in my house. She is my bed buddy, my shop dog and my shadow. She loves her frisbee more than anything and can play catch all day. She’s the first one to greet me when I get home from work and first to jump in the truck to go for a ride for a pup cup. For these reasons and others, I feel she is the one that would be able to make another family love her as much as I do. I love her so much and this is breaking my heart, but I love them both too much to let it continue. Please reach out if you are interested or know someone that might be. Thank you friends.

Seems like once a year another part of my body decides it doesn’t want to work the same anymore. Back in March something started hurting in what I first thought was my shoulder, but turned out to be a herniated disc in my neck. Work at my day job became more intense and I had to put in long hours and constant testing for a new system implementation. I was left with very little time to do projects for the Barn and even when I could, the pain in my neck and arm would get worse. I started losing strength and dexterity in my left hand and kept dropping things. So after 2 rounds of epidural shots and putting almost all wood projects off I had a disc replacement surgery last week. This huge awesome walnut cutting board was the last thing I was able to make before calling it quits. I’m hoping my stupid old body will chill out and let me off the hook for a while after this.

Made myself a small table for my front room out of old Idaho barn wood that was given to me about 7 years ago (thank you Anna)! The pictures do not do it justice because the wood is absolutely gorgeous. This is my favorite build to date and so happy I get to keep it.

I have a few more sizes available in the planter boxes. Med box is 12x12x24 - $50. Large box is 18x18x24 - $75. 3 tier is 23x6x36 - $90. Single long planter is 23x6x30 - $50.

I am a Woodworker. I am Not a photographer. I like to make things, then I forget I have to document and try to sell it before I deliver it. So many things I’ve made and don’t even have pictures of. So here you go. Best I’m able to do this late at night. I’m making cedar planters this weekend. If you’re interested, please reach out. These planters are the smallest of the bunch and I’ll be making other larger ones that I will post more pictures as they are made. These are approximately 9x9x8 inches with a 6 inch opening. I can personalize with a cute saying or leave as is. I can also paint them if you don’t like the natural look. Cedar is naturally rot and insect resistant so they should hold up well outside. Natural with no extras are $30 or 2 for $50. Customized are $35 or 2 for $60.
