Whose “well done” are you looking for?
It’s easy to spend our lives trying to earn approval, from our parents, our peers, our bosses, our followers, or even people who have already decided they’ll never be impressed by us.
But Jesus did not call us to build lives that look impressive but rather faithful instead.
Sometimes faithfulness is visible. Sometimes it grows a platform, produces measurable success, or receives recognition.
But often, faithfulness is quiet.
It looks like keeping your word when no one would know if you didn’t. Loving your family when it feels ordinary. Serving without being noticed. Choosing integrity when compromise would be easier. Obeying God even when no one applauds.
The goal cannot be to hear “well done” from everyone.
The goal is to live for the One whose “Well done” will matter forever.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
—Matthew 25:23
