Grandpa’s shorts!? Yes sir! My daughter had a fashion vision and showed me her inspo pic of a madras mini skirt she wanted (the 1st photo). I had an old pair of my dad’s preppy shorts in a pile to utilize the fabric one day. Well, I revamped them into the mini skirt she wanted (just a tad longer 😉). She proudly wore it to high school yesterday with adidas samba sneaks and a navy tank top and received compliments all day long! 🥰 Her cost=free. My cost=my time to cut, do fittings, and sew. Our time creating together= priceless. I was happy to do it for her so she could see it can be done, you just need to think outside the box. We also saved probably $90 from the store she would have bought it from. Plus, it’s now a family “heirloom” mini skirt, I suppose!

Clover Market ® is always a joy to visit and experience excellent creativity, friendly people, unique items to shop, and of course support small businesses instead of big box stores! I’m thrilled to learn that we were selected to be a part of this indoor holiday market the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving! November 21 and 22 indoors at The Westtown School in West Chester, Pa! I’m determined to bring the best vintage merch and revamped clothing for the shoppers! 🍀🦃
