This is my cousin Kody. Kody was involved in a tragic tree stand accident on June 27th. He had a pretty significant fall, while putting up a tree stand, resulting in a pretty bad back injury. He was flighted to Wausau hospital, and then later flighted to UW Madison, where he had surgery right away. After 2 1/2 months Kody has just recently settled back in at home, learning a new routine, still having lots of appointments and PT. Kody has been a trooper through it all, and has kept a positive attitude.

Today, Kody was able to take a ride and stop in to pick up his buck he shot in Canada last fall. He’s been out hunting a few times since he has came back home, and has been seeing lots of bucks, knock on wood he will bringing me another one real soon!

I also had the honor of giving him a check on behalf of Tj Carmody from The 1Human Fund. The 1Human Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families and individuals in need in North Eastern Wisconsin. Tj graciously enough reached out in regard to a post I shared about Kody’s accident and wanted to donate. So a big thank you to Tj, The 1Human Fund, people & businesses that have donated to such a great event.

Keep working Kody, always thinking about you & sending prayers your way! 🤍

I’ve been slacking on posting pictures, but here are some mounts that have headed out in the last few months!

To all customers:

I currently have over 150 deer mounts in my shop and lots of miscellaneous projects. Every call and text asking for a status update takes time away from working on those mounts. If I'm answering my phone, I'm not mounting deer.

Please do not call or text for routine updates. I know exactly where your mount is in the process, and I will contact you when it is finished or if I need to discuss something with you.

Taxidermy is not an overnight process, and quality work takes time. I refuse to rush anyone's mount just because they're asking more often than someone else. Every customer will be treated fairly and in the order that work is scheduled.

I appreciate your patience and respect for my time.
