Many people know us for steel. Many people know us for recycling. What makes Pacific unique is that we do both.

Every day, our steel locations help supply the materials used to build homes, schools, bridges, manufacturing facilities, farms, and community projects across the Northwest. At the same time, our recycling locations help recover valuable materials that can be processed and transformed into new products, reducing waste and conserving natural resources.

In fact, steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world and can be recycled again and again without losing its strength or quality.

From recycling yesterday's steel to supplying tomorrow's projects, Pacific plays a role in both sides of the steel lifecycle.

Inspirational rave about Pacific steel and recycling (1001 Larch st.)
Today, we recycled aluminum cans at Pacific recycling, to donate proceeds to Gillette animal shelter.
The bag of uncrushed cans makes a dollar, the bag of crushed cans makes about 5 dollars.
Imagine if all of us did this, that would make a good donation to the animal shelter, and it's good for the environment.
PS: some sources say it's preferable to recycle ♻️ uncrushed cans.
