Single family homes can recycle used oil and oil filters (must be drained) in your regular weekly curbside collection.

Request oil jugs and filter bags by calling 831.636.7500. Set used oil containers and filter bags next to recycling cart. Limit 3 gallons of oil and 3 filters per week.

If you live in an apartment complex or prefer to drop off your used motor oil and filters, see the flyer showing other local options.

Used motor oil is not allowed in any Recology containers and consider hazardous waste. Thanks for being !

We're hosting an electronic waste drop off, document shredding while we host a compost giveaway! 🌱

Did you know that Recology offers many free programs and services?

🟢 Low Income Program for Residential customers who qualify (customer must be on PG&E CARE or AT&T Lifeline Program).
🟢 Free electronic waste recycling, secure paper shredding, and compost giveaways
🟢 Curbside collection of batteries, textiles (clothing), and motor oil & oil filter recycling on your service days
🟢 Curbside Bulky Item Collection for items such as furniture, appliances, and more (limitations apply and must be scheduled by calling 831.636.7500 or emailing [email protected])

Want to learn more about how the material collected in your green organics cart that turns into beautiful compost within three months? ♻️ 🌱

To grab your hands on some FREE nutrient-rich compost tomorrow, swing by this Brigantino Park in Hollister. Please bring your own shovel and bucket. From 9 AM — 1 PM. We'll also be accepting any unwanted e-waste and offering a confidential shredding service.

If you can't make it this Saturday, mark your calendars for May 16th at San Juan School (100 Nyland Dr, San Juan Bautista).
