We’re open this Saturday at Fernwood, and we’d love to see you!

Come spend the afternoon among the redwoods, enjoy a tasting, and take home a few bottles of your Fernwood favorites. There’s always room for a little more w**e in the cellar!

Saturday afternoon is also Premier Cruz, a celebration of Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon that our very own w**emaker, Matt Oetinger, helped establish.

A quick reminder: Fernwood will be CLOSED Sunday for a private event, so Saturday is your chance to come visit us this weekend!

Bring some friends, enjoy the w**e, and stock up for the week ahead.

🍷 A little history in every glass!

Our first-ever Fernwood Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical Tasting was a great success!

It was an incredible experience revisiting some of our earliest vintages and seeing how these w**es have evolved over the years. The standout of the day? Our 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, described by one attendee in a single word: “Perfection!”

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the tasting so special. We’re already looking forward to hosting another next year!

Until then, we’re back to work in the cellar, giving the 2026 vintage the same care and attention that made these older w**es so memorable.

Here’s to great w**e, good company, and the beauty of aging gracefully.

🍷 The story behind Round Rocks.

Inspired by Matt and Tiff’s visit to Château La Nerthe in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Round Rocks takes its name from the galets—the iconic rounded stones that cover the vineyard floors of the region.

That experience made its way home to Fernwood and helped inspire our 2024 Round Rocks.

Come out this weekend, escape to the redwoods, and enjoy a glass while you still can. Our inventory won’t be around forever! 🌿🍷
