On behalf of the Giltner Fire Department, we would like to thank everyone who helped with our field fire yesterday. Our mutual aid response was outstanding. Thank you Phillips fire, Trumbull fire, Hastings Rural fire, Doniphan fire, Harvard fire, Aurora fire, & Aurora ambulance. A special thank you to the farmers who showed up with a tractor and disk, we could have not done it without your help. Also to the dispatchers in Hamilton, Hall, Clay, & Adams counties, thank you for all the work you do for us behind the scene. Thank you to the Hamilton county Sheriffs department for providing traffic control, Hamilton county emergency management for bottled water, and BNSF railroad for getting trains stopped and responding to the scene.
