HR Recruiter

Besse Lumber Company, a division of Besse Forest Products Group, is seeking a *Part-Time* HR Specialist to join our Sawmill at our facility in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.

Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

· Recruiting
· Job posting
· Interviewing applicants
· Onboarding/Orientation
· Maintains accurate records
· Tracks status of candidates
· Participates in outreach events
· Safety Training
· Other duties assigned

Qualifications & Skills Required:

The Besse Lumber Company Team is looking to add a talented Human Resources Specialist to assist with the hiring process from beginning to end. Responsibilities include attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling interviews, interviewing applicants, and maintaining necessary paperwork. A background in Human Resources and/or recruiting is preferred.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Must be professional and uphold confidentiality with sensitive situations. Ideal candidates will be highly organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.

We are looking for someone that is a self-starter and willing to step in to help with other projects as needed.

Resaw Operator

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

-Load and position cants on the infeed.
-Examines each face of the cant to determine highest grade board yield prior to sending to the saw.
-Operates, adjusts, and aligns controls to meet customer product specifications.
-Circles back remaining cants to through the merry go round system.
-Adheres to company safety procedures.
