What is Transcervical Insemination (TCI)?

TCI is a non-surgical breeding procedure that can be performed using fresh-collected, fresh-chilled, or frozen semen.

During the procedure, an endoscope is used to visualize the cervix through the vaginal canal. A flexible catheter is then passed through the cervix to deposit the semen directly into the uterus.

Because TCI is a non-surgical procedure, it can be a less invasive option than surgical insemination while still providing excellent pregnancy rates with appropriately managed breedings.
