The farmers market vendors got a little pick me up yesterday thanks to the wonderful crew at Sip 906 Nutrition . The owner, Sage, graciously donated vouchers to each of the vendors to use for a drink of their choosing.

Collaborations amongst downtown businesses and the Gladstone Farmers Market are vital in supporting small business owners and building a sense of community.

We thank Sip 906 and our downtown businesses for supporting the mission of the DDA by consistently showing up, shopping the market, and being welcoming to all.

Robbie & Caleb spent the week bringing our pedestrian lines back to life with fresh paint. The repainting of pedestrian lines is vital in keeping our citizens and visitors safe while exploring all that the City of Gladstone has to offer.

Next time you’re out on your walk, check out how great the lines look along with all of the other beautiful things coming to life for the summer. ☀️

The City of Gladstone is proud to host Cabela’s National Walleye Tour this Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19.

Roughly 250 anglers will arrive in the area in the coming days as they prepare for the third stop on the tour. The National Walleye Tour (NWT) is the premier professional Walleye tournament circuit in North America, bringing together the sport’s top anglers to compete.

Our DDA director, Patricia West, and Downtown Ambassador, Samantha Gaudino, took a trip to South Haven last week to attend the Michigan Downtown Association 2026 summer workshop.

They proudly represented the City of Gladstone among over 90 other stakeholders from across the state. During this two-day workshop, they gained new insights, got connected with new resources, and networked with others to bring back fresh ideas that will directly impact our downtown for generations to come.

We are grateful for Patricia's, Samantha's, and the DDA's continued commitment to making the City of Gladstone a beautiful place to be! ☀️
