Had a big ole boar hit the dirt last night!

Our first hunter of the year couldn’t make it up until Saturday, we had bears frequenting this spot and were seeing them Wednesday and Thursday within 2 hours of dark.

We got John and his son set up in there Saturday evening and by Sunday evening he put the hammer down! Had the largest of the 5 bears come stepping right into his shooting lane, got a great shot and it ran within 10 yards of the blind and expired 25 yards from the bait!

Can’t wait to get this guy on a scale, guessing close to 400.

Congrats on an awesome bear John! Was a pleasure having you and your son!

Huge shoutout to Hunters For Life for making this possible for him. Great organization! Head on over and give them a like! We appreciate you Mark!

Give us a shout to get your hunt started today!!
