Hey all! Here's a glimpse of the Zin growing at the Tornetta Vineyard a couple weeks ago. This is a great honor for us working with Joe, one of Tony's old friends and former employee at the Coturri Winery. We are expecting increased yield this year since we have put many hours into restoring this special lot at Joe's house. They are old Monte Rosso clones planted on St George. Last year the fruit came in with crazy variety - soft skins to green to pink and mildew. But! Amazing stems. The 2018 Tornetta Zinfandel fermented on said stems for 2 weeks and spent 9 months in a neutral french oak puncheon after gentle pressing. We have bottled it already and we must say it is as classic as you can get. We are all really excited for where this wine will go. Just about 50 cases only.
