Perron serves as the Chairman of Los Angeles United School District (LAUSD) Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and sits on the Board of Education Special Education Committee . He is a member of LAUSD North Region Superintendent Parent Leadership Advisory Group and represented LAUSD as the Parent Ambassador serving as a panelist for Safe Schools for All - Los Angeles Virtual Health Panel - Regional

Town halls (California Public Health Department). In 2021, he appeared in the District’s Public Service Announcement (PSA) as host for Vaccine Awareness on KLCS-TV PBS station in Los Angeles during the recent return to school after the Stay-at-Home order was lifted. National speaker for Parent Engagement for Inclusion and Co Chair for CAC Legislation subcommittee. Producer for PBS Public Service Announcements for Special Education in Los Angeles.
