The New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) is in the middle of overhauling the City's commercial waste industry to make NYC cleaner and safer. Boro-Wide is one of the waste carting businesses selected by DSNY to participate in the Commercial Waste Zone program, improving safety standards, service for businesses, and noise quality on residential streets.

Meet the founders! TNT Carting, which would become Mr. T Carting, was founded in 1947 by Tom "Pop" Toscano. Boro-Wide Recycling was founded as New Style Carting in 1956 by Rocko "Rocky" Cristina in 1956. The two companies merged in 2024 to become Boro-Wide, and now share over 150 years of combined experience serving NYC businesses.
