North Dakota is a great ace to live work and raise your family!
Today marks exactly one year since we arrived in the United States 🇺🇸💛💙
One year ago, our family came to Bismarck, ND through the United for Ukraine program.
This year gave us a second chance. It gave us hope. It gave us a new life.
And it showed us just how much light and kindness there is in people.
We are deeply grateful to the Wutzke family for opening their home and hearts to us.
You have become more than just our sponsor family — you’ve become our dear friends. Because of you, we were able to feel safe, warm, and begin again.
A heartfelt thank-you to Olga Lampcov — for helping us at the most critical moment and for connecting us with a sponsor.
And to Nancy Lampcov — for warmly welcoming us at the airport and supporting us during those very first hours. Your kindness will always stay with us.
Our sincere appreciation goes to Bismarck Global Neighbors — thank you for your support, your guidance, and for being a steady hand during our first months. You helped us feel seen, welcome, and understood.
Special thanks to the wonderful teacher Miss Burbidge and the entire Will-Moore Elementary school community.
From the very first day, you surrounded Violetta with care, understanding, and encouragement. Thanks to you, she ran to school each day with joy. The school became her island of stability and kindness in a new country.
We are truly thankful to Bismarck Public Schools for the opportunity to work, grow, and be part of your team.
I also want to thank my coworkers — for the warm welcome, the friendly atmosphere, and your everyday support. Your kindness and respect mean more than words can say.
Thank you, Bismarck, for the warm embrace, for genuine people, and for allowing us to start over without losing ourselves.
We will always remember this first year.
With deep gratitude,
Our Family
