Last week we spent some time at Historic Santa Claus Camp working on a camp signage project.

It’s always fun to walk a camp with fresh eyes and think about the little details that make a big difference for campers, families, and volunteers. Signs may seem simple, but they do a lot of heavy lifting at camp—helping people find their way, reinforcing safety, and making everyone feel more comfortable in a new place.

As we walked around camp talking about where signs should go and what they should say, it got us thinking about all the ways good signage improves the camp experience.

So we pulled together a few tips and tricks for camps that might be updating their signs this season! Sometimes the smallest improvements—like a well-placed sign—can make camp feel easier, safer, and more welcoming for everyone.

🚙💨 Texas, here we come!

We’re officially road-tripping to Mo-Ranch for the Camp Association Texoma Camp Conference! Our bags are packed, playlists queued, and our favorite therapy dog partner, Harbor, is officially on navigation (and morale-boosting) duty. 🐶

There’s something extra special about driving to camp. The anticipation builds mile by mile, the conversations get deeper, and yes… Harbor is monitoring both snacks and morale!

We can’t wait to roll down the windows, arrive at camp, and settle into all the Texas camp energy. If you see a car full of camp people with a very happy pup inside—👋 that’s us. Camp roads, good company, and a wagging tail… let’s go, Texas. 🤠🏕️🐾
