The elliptical vault (1930) was concealed by a lay-in ceiling for the last 55 years. Soon it will be a finished ceiling (again).

A pretty dramatic before-and-after. Jefferson's 1884 Sierra Community Theater building showing off a revitalized facade with a fully new marquee - complete with programmable LED chaser lights. The design of marquee is informed by the building's 2nd episode as a movie house in the 1920's while the inlay tiles are an homage to the theater's 3rd episode, a few decades later.
