Ken Gore and Ken Knowles: Two Original Cape Ann Visions in One Auction
Two outstanding original Cape Ann oil paintings are now open for bidding in the **Carla Grillo Estate Part 2** online auction—and we want to know which one you would choose.
**Ken Gore (1911–1990)** brings the drama with *Crashing Surf on a Rocky Coast*—a powerful coastal scene with waves breaking against a rugged New England shoreline.
**Ken Knowles (b. 1968)** captures a quieter side of Gloucester in *Gloucester Harbor Sunset*, featuring a handsome schooner gliding through the harbor beneath a glowing sunset, with Gloucester City Hall rising in the distance.
Both works are original oils on masonite. One is all energy, surf, and salt air; the other is pure Cape Ann atmosphere, warm evening light, and the working harbor we know and love.
Bidding is open now in the Carla Grillo Estate Part 2 auction. Both paintings, along with high-end audio equipment, furniture, rugs, books, and other estate discoveries, sell to the highest bidder. Local Gloucester pickup only—no shipping.
Ken Gore’s *Crashing Surf on a Rocky Coast* and Ken Knowles’ *Gloucester Harbor Sunset* are both listed in the Grillo Estate Part 2 catalog details at:
