More changes to Facebook that will affect all business pages.

If you are a small business and do not yet have a Facebook Business Suite - Get one. Functionality is disappearing from the page itself.

Already, there is very little ad management from a business page, many key insigts are only available through the business suite, and now your inbox and your post scheduling tools are moving to the suite.

The Apple iOS Update will change how you run digital ads!

There has been a huge change to all advertising platforms that you need to know about. It will affect everyone running ads and could get your Facebook Ad account paused.

Though it has been in the tech news for months, many Facebook and Google Ad users are unaware of how it will affect their ads, their ad reports and conversion tracking, and even their ability to run ads.

Here’swhat’s happening in a nutshell. The update rolled out Monday and a number of speculations about what would ads were made clear. The update allows Apple device users to opt-out of tracking. This means if they opt-out they will no longer show up as ad clicks, no data will be recorded about their interests and demographics, and no conversions will be recorded in ad reporting. There are also anumber of rules required of ad platforms. To be compliant
- Facebook is asking Business Accounts to verify their websites, any one that doesn't own their domain will not be able to run ads to that domain
This may be an issue for affiliate commissions unless you set up the landing pageon your website. If you have a site on Kajabi, Click Funnels, Leadpages, Hubspot or any third party platform you will need to make sure you own your domain.

Facebook is also now requiring you to
-> a business account in Facebook, ad accounts only or just boosting posts from ad managers will no longer work.
-> Set up two-factor authentication in your Facebook Business Account
-> Have a backup admin in your Facebook Business Account
-> And Verify your domain
If these things are not done, Facebook will pause your ads and you will not be able to run any ad until you are compliant.

But that is just Facebook The update will affect the following across all advertising platforms
-> Limit the number of campaigns
->Limit the number of adsets per campaign
-> All ad sets in a campaignmust have the same optimization type/goal
-> Limit all event tracking to only 8 events
-> Limit all tracking to7 days from click (used to be 28 days in Facebook)

Apple Users that opt-out of tracking will no longer
- Be recorded in ad reporting for click throughs, conversions, events, video views, etc.
- Have interests and demographics recorded
- Be included for retargeting campaigns
- Be included in look-a-like audiences
- Be included when you choose ‘interest’ options in your ad set up

When we talk about viral video and successful video ads there are many elements to discuss

Is it well shot and edited well? Does it capture the attention? Is it aesthetic? Is it relevant?

Does It Resonate...

This new Nike ad is all of the above! The care put into compiling the video clips that blend together is simply stunning - as is the visual effect.

It grabs your attention immediately!

From there, you are introduced to relevant content that hits so many current events without being overtly political, without taking a position, and without making the viewer uncomfortable -- a very difficult task.

No matter your opinion of this brand, or of any one element in the video - the sense of unity, community, determination, and perseverance shines through the potentially charged clips while not letting the viewer rest on any one thing long enough for a reaction.

The handling the content, the story, the very obvious thought put into which clips were used, the groups and messages included, the balance of asthetic and meaning, the absence of an overtly political or divisive tone, even where and how clips were cut make this ad one that not only frames a moment in time, it is one that will set the bar for other advertising.
