Interest rates are just under 7%, but until we get a fed cut I am not sure we are going to see this market pick up. Our demand is low and each week we are gaining inventory. This is good news for buyers who have more choices and can ask for larger concessions. Most homes are not selling for listing price which is a change from 6 months ago. Experts are expecting home prices to come down if demand does not start increasing. Only 73 percent of listings are selling, which is lower than usual. More sellers are taking their homes off the market when they realize they cannot get their asking price. Here is what is going on in some local areas.
