Completed some percesion falling of beetle kill pine in Kyburz on Sunday. Trees were rigged with pullys and cables along with a tree jack set in place to direct trees away from structures and outdoor fixtures. The Rubicon Overland Company unimog was on hand for the winchwork.

MFTS had the pleasure of providing custom slabs and mill work to The Divide Restraunt in Georgetown, ca. Working with the Stone family was a pleasure and proud to have contributed to the project.

The large pine was salvaged from The Humbug Creek Farm in Calaveras County.
Slabs were milled at 3"x44"x 20' long using our Stihl 090 Alaskan Mill and delivered to Georgetown.

We specialize in custom milling of large diameter timber beams and slabs.

Had a great weekend helping the Friends of the Rubicon improve a camp ground at Ellis Creek on the Rubicon Trail.

MFTS had our band mill and peeler saw along with our old hand tools and built some unique log benches and tables for folks to enjoy.

This was made possible by The Rubicon Trail Foundation and a Friends of the Rubicon work party headed up by Shannon Chard.
